Marilet Martinez is a San Francisco native, actor, teaching artist, fight choreographer, physical theatre divisor, improvisor, and Zumba instructor. She is an associate artist with Cutting Ball theatre in SF, a company member at Impact Theatre in Berkeley, and outreach liaison for the San Francisco Mime Troupe(political theatre, not that kind of mime). She has been a teaching artist for Stagewrite, Word for Word, Kaiser Permanente's Educational Theatre, the San Francisco Mime Troupe and Berkeley Repertory Theatre. She has worked with ACT, Calshakes, SF Mime Troupe, Word for Word, Berkeley Rep's Ground floor, Crowded Fire, Shotgun Players, African American Shakes, Brava Theatre, Alter Theatre, Teatrovision, Woman's Will, PCPA Theatrefest, and more. She is a co-founder of the Bay Area Latinx Theatre Artist Network and a member of the "Yeah I Said Feminist" Theatre Salon. She is currently performing with Generation Latinx out of iO and Free Pizza at Laugh Out Loud Theatre.
