Apprenticeships

Summer 2020

The Viola Project offers two Apprenticeships over the summer for emerging Arts Educators.
Many apprentices go on to teach for and work with Viola Project in the future.

Teaching Artist Apprenticeship

The Teaching Artist Apprenticeship Program is a four-week summer intensive geared towards emerging teaching artists. Our apprentices attend camp, support our Lead and Assistant Teachers, complete weekly assignments, and leave with a defined skill set designed to support them in their journey to become a fully qualified teaching artist. You’ll work hard, learn a ton, meet amazing young women, and do a lot of Shakespeare!

Administrative Apprenticeship

The Administrative Apprenticeship Program is geared towards emerging Arts Educators. The apprentice will help coordinate all 8 summer camps – from pre-camp prep work to post-program wrap up. You’ll work hard, meet amazing young women, observe programs, and spend time around a lot of Shakespeare!

Applications will be available in March, 2020.

The Viola Project welcomes girls and gender nonconforming youth.
Our students are welcomed regardless of their race, class, ethnicity, sexual orientation or ability.
We strive to ensure our staff reflects our student body.
