Teaching Artist with The Viola Project since: 2015
Jessica Alldredge is an teaching artist, actor, and collaborator from Birmingham, AL. In Birmingham, she discovered the power of Shakespeare for youth through The Bards of Birmingham. She started with the Viola Project in 2015 and has enjoyed working with many amazing girls through camp, workshops and residencies. As a teaching artist, Jessica also works for Northlight Theater and Bubbles Academy and has also worked for American Theater Company, Mudlark Theater, and Dream Big in the past. She is a graduate of the theater department at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a member of the 2015 cohort of the former Teaching Artist Development Studio through CCAP at Columbia Chicago. Jessica believes in the power of the arts education to grow confidence, strength, community, and empathy and that art should be accessible to everyone. Her newest role is mom to a tiny but powerful little girl.
