Hanging out with some University Women!

On Saturday, September 10, The Viola Project presented our mission and our accomplishments to the Chicago Loop Branch of the American Association of University Women!

If you're not familiar with their work, AAUW has been empowering women as individuals and as a community since 1881. For more than 130 years, they have worked together as a national grassroots organization to improve the lives of millions of women and their families.

The Viola Project was proud to receive a Community Action Grant, dedicated to providing tuition free after school programs for middles school girls in under-served areas.  AAUW is a national organization, and The Viola Project was one of four grants awarded in the entire state of Illinois!

We are so thankful to this amazing organization!
